Pantone’s Color of the Year: Ultra Violet
Posted on: December 28th, 2017Pantone has officially announced that the color of the year is Ultra Violet and we think it’s going to be a huge hit!
We’re no strange to this dramatic color. We’ve seen clients bring in this shade of purple by using it for their tablecloths and table runner. We’ve also seen clients use this shade of purple in their centerpieces and bouquets!
Wedding At Springfield Museums
Posted on: December 27th, 2017That’s right; we had the opportunity to work on two different stylized shoots at the Springfield Museum. For this shoot, we teamed up with Sandra Costello Photography. Between Sandra and our event coordinator they designed a mock wedding. The fake ceremony and reception took place in the Blake Court of the D’Amour Fine Arts Museum which had beautiful hard wood floors, high ceilings and elegant paintings on the walls. To match the theme in the room, we went with a renaissance theme.
We started off with a neutral champagne linen to blend with the current colors in the room. From there we added a bold copper napkin and gold chiavari chairs to add some color. However the real pop of color came from Durocher Florist. They created beautiful floral arrangements for the tables. We opted for heavy greenery loaded with blush and cream flowers. CJC Event Lighting put spot lights on the centerpieces and up light the walls with a blush tone.

Unique Uses For Mason Jars
Posted on: December 22nd, 2017The most common use of a mason jar that we see is for signature drinks. Whether you’re serving sangria, margarita or a beer, our 16oz mason jar will get the job done!
But there are so many other uses for the mason jar such as serving appetizers like a taco dip. The glass jar allows you to see all of the pretty layers!
Instead of serving salad in a bowl or on a plate, serve it in a mason jar. Just like the taco dip, serving salad in a mason jar allows you to see of the layers of vegetables.
Mason jars also are perfect holders for items such as fries!
Craving something sweet? Use mason jars to serve pies, cheesecakes, mousse or puddings!

Boylston Room Wedding
Posted on: December 18th, 2017Have you attended an event at the Boylston Room in Easthampton yet? If not, you’re missing out; it’s absolutely stunning!
The Boylston Room has 2 different indoor event spaces and an outdoor patio. The smaller of the 2 rooms was the perfect backdrop for a photo shoot put on by the Fox and Lantern. She used our mahogany chiavari chairs for the ceremony. The large mill windows let natural light brighten up the space!
The Fox and Lantern created a mock cocktail hour out on the patio. We supplied cocktail tables, chiavari bar stools and our plank bar to create a quaint cocktail reception. The plum linens matched the brick of the old mill building beautifully.
Too continue with the berry theme, the Fox and Lantern filled up our 1 liter glass carafes with juices.
The Boylston Room’s second space is larger and was the foundation of the reception part of this stylized photo shoot. Here the Fox and Lantern staggered our tuscan tables for guests seating and used our farm table and bench for the head table.
The tuscan tables were draped in pewter linens and charcoal napkins. Our mahogany chiavari chairs matched the linens and flowers perfectly!
Union Station Gala
Posted on: December 16th, 2017We’ve done a handful of events at Union Station since their grand opening but the grand opening gala will always be our favorite event hosted there!
The event started with a cocktail hour under a frame tent that we installed in the bus terminals. From there, guests walked a red carpet through our ropes and stanchions into the newly renovated station.
The goal of the remodel of Union Station was to keep it as original as possible. The concourse is breath taking with it’s high ceilings and arched walk ways. The flooring seen in the photo above is all original!
We brought in 60-72″ round tables and 600 gold chiavari chairs for seating for the guests. We draped all of the tables in gold nova swirl linens for an elegant look that paired well with the gold chairs and stunning greenery centerpieces.
JX2 Productions hung black fabric swags in each archway and did an amazing job lighting up the concourse for this event!
To prevent an echo off the marble floors, we installed carpeting padding as well as black carpet on all areas of the concourse with the exception of a 20’x40′ space for dancing.
We supplied all of the glassware, china and utensils for this event as well. The Springfield Sheraton did a wonderful job catering! Big thanks to all of the vendors who came together to make this gala a huge success!
